Inspired by the timeless allure of Denmark’s coasts, Shore Collection by Norm Architects celebrates the serene yet dynamic essence of the shoreline and bustling harbours that define the Danish landscape.
Comprising four distinctive yet cohesive textile designs, the collection invites you to curate layered, atmospheric spaces. Each piece complements the others, creating a tapestry of textures and tones that evoke the nuanced beauty of the Nordic seaside and harbour landscapes.

Echoing the elegant simplicity of spiraling boat ropes, COIL transforms the concept of endlessness into a tangible design. Each line is meticulously structured, yet retains a loose, flowing quality that invites detailed exploration. Crafted from soft, light materials, it offers a stimulating touch and brings a sense of organic beauty to any space.

Channeling the rugged charm of Denmark’s coastal landscape, TWIST features natural, woolly fibers that provide a tactile and luxurious design. Whether in a domestic setting or a bustling public space, its voluminous and natural allure introduces an inviting, refined atmosphere, bridging the gap between the outdoors and indoor comfort.

LOOP showcases a delicate quality, with a similar appearance on both sides. Its surface reveals a fascinating interplay of varying sizes, colours, and thicknesses, each strand meticulously crafted to highlight its unique character.

KNOT reimagines the humble boat rope, transforming it into a striking design element. Through a simple yet effective knotting technique, dimensions expand and shapes redefine, yielding a piece that is both functional and decoratively rich.

Drawing from these earthy tones and subtle hues reminiscent of diverse landscapes, the collection transforms interiors into inviting and harmonious sanctuaries, and with a focus on tac- tile comfort and enduring quality, the rugs are designed to anchor spaces in calmness and warmth, creating a sensory experience that resonates on every level.

The humble rug is designed to feel at home wherever it is placed. It doesn’t demand attention but rather sits comfortably within the space, serving as a foundational element that ties everything together.

By incorporating these elements into our designs, we aim to create a space that feels inviting and harmonious – where the presence of nature is palpable, promoting a sense of connection and well-being.

Ultimately, the aim of the collection is to offer a design element that not only enhances the visual appeal of a room but also contributes to a sense of balance and harmony within the interior environment.

Designed by Norm Architects in collaboration with Ancher Studio, each piece in the No. 16 collection embodies a refined simplicity and profound connection to nature. Drawing inspiration from the serene aesthetics of Japanese design and the clean, functional lines of Scandinavian tradition, the wheel thrown ceramics offer a unique fusion of the modern and the timeless – creating a design that is both multifunctional and pleasing to the eye.

Featuring a light-colored glaze and speckled clay, the pieces are reminiscent of natural stone and sand, creating a subtle yet captivating texture. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, each piece is a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of Ancher’s skilled potters, ensuring durability and long-lasting beauty to provide a comforting and organic feel that enriches everyday rituals.

No. 16 was originally designed bespoke for a guesthouse on the north coast of Zealand in Denmark to fit with a rustic and casual summer lifestyle close to beach, forest and heathers.
Stemming from the design ethos of this project, the ceramics exude the human-centric design ethos of Norm Architects to engage all the human senses.

In the collaboration between the two Danish studios BRANDT Collective and Norm Architects, a delicate exploration of timeless materials and inviting surfaces has resulted in four unique hardware collections for the home, each based on different typologies, assuming architectonic, biophilic qualities.

With attention to hardware as small pieces of functional jewelry for the interior and its repetitive nature, the collections balance timeless simplicity with recognizable character.

The LEAF Collection features handles characterised by precision and minimal material thickness, inviting you to explore the subtle beauty of tactile interaction. Each handle embodies a blade-like silhouette melding with the contours of your touch.

The delicate, organic curvature of the surface contrasts with the solid, dense base, creating a visually striking piece. As light dances along the thin edges, the handles exude a sense of elegance and refinement, inviting a heightened appreciation for the intimate connection between body and object.

The design takes the familiar and transforms it into something extraordinary, exploring the interplay between form, materialty, and spatial context.

The BUTTON Collection is imbued with a sense of nostalgia and timeless elegance, drawing inspiration from traditional apparel.

Soft and gentle to the touch, the objects graced by delicate curves and subtle textures are designed to evolve beautifully with use, gaining patina and revealing the life surrounding them and the element of time, sensed in objects polished smooth by the hand through centuries of use.

With references to classical architectural elements such as ancient Roman staircases and archways as well as themes rediscovered in the era of Art Deco, the topographical objects of the TERRACE collection serve as sculptural elements, elegantly adorning any surface or material.

The visual depth created by the recessed levels, drawing toward the core of the handles, intensifies as natural light dances across their surfaces, altering and disrupting the rhythms formed by the interplay of light and shadow.
Playing on the balance between light and heavy, these objects encapsulate the beauty and simplicity of architectural details while indicating their primary function as utilitarian objects.

The CARVE Collection is characterised by a harmonious blend of tactile allure and minimalist refinement born from the collaboration between BRANDT Collective and Norm Architects.

A chiseled and crafted look gives each piece in the collection a sculptural appearance, exuding a promise of tactile allure and refinement. The eye is instinctively drawn to the objects, sensing the work of hand. Inspired by surfaces found in traditional Japanese woodworking, the idea of carving the surface is translated into a smaller scale and a new material. The rugged and tactile surface of the hardware changes dramatically with the passing of time and the change of light.
